First of thanks to trhis forum I have been slowly getting my 66 rag top Valiant ready for spring.
I am putting an Edelbrock Performer (2176) on a LA 360. I have the Felpro (1213)
gaskets with the sealing surface around the ports.(which side goes to the head) Do I need RTV
any other place than the ends? I know to throw the end gaskets away . One more question: J got New heater hose nipples and the large one fits fine but the smaller one is too small. What
size do I need and how many plugs and size do I need? Thanks for your help (spring is just aroud the corner)

It really doesn't Matter what side the gasket faces. No rtv but in the corners to seal the tri meeting spot. Heads/intake/block and then along the china wall.

A hint.
Stay to the rear side of the china wall with your sealant on the front passenger side of the block.
Set it on dry and check it out.
Pretty sure the smaller heater nipple is 1/2NPT and as far as the plugs go look up that intake and find out what they are.
I'm sure it's out there.

Or. you could just order the kit and it might be easier for you.

small hole should be 3/8" pipe, larger hole 1/2" pipe.
