Hi!

about to put together my 360, and asking some advise...

spec:
Stock 360 4x3.58
procomp alu-heads 2.02-1.60
Hughes camshaft 237/242@050 .548/.555 lift
headers
custom sheetmetal intake @ pipemax area&length

pipemax predict 2sq.inches MCSA, but since I have a 2.02 valve in my head the area under the valve is @ 90% of valve dia, about 2.59sq.inches area! TOO BIG!

this means I can not put the mcsa under the valve, but has to put is just before the short turn. I dont want to reduce valve diameter because my timearea is a bit on the small side alredy!

how do I shape the bowl then after the mcsa ????
hope someone has the answer:)

I`d seek advise from a pro on that!--bob

I'm not a pro, but it is always smaller under the valve. Is just go ahead with the project.

You could ask IQ52, or MRL and a few other pro builders here.
