No. It’ll go on the chassis dyno once it’s in the car, but for tuning mostly. It’ll stop making power when I stop turning up the boost. It’s got enough turbo to make 1300 or so, which is well above where something will break and well above how much I need to accomplish my goal of low 9s with a stick shift on drag week.Have you had that engine on the dyno?
It’s pretty mild actually. It’s a drag week deal so it’s gotta survive long trips and drag racing. I’ll race it on e85 and drive it on 87 octane. Stock bottom end magnum with lots of ring gap, Small 224@050 roller cam that’s not a lobe killer, lightly ported W2s from Brian at IMM, and lots of boost. It’s good recipe. Yea. This one had to be easy on springs and things. That’s what takes out a lot of people on drag n drive stuff. But it still has .540 with a 1.5 and I’m using 1.6s on it.
