Interior Question - 74 Gold Duster

Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a great weekend, so far. I have a couple questions for the masses. First, I am buying a 74 Gold Duster that needs a complete interior. I may be able to salvage the carpet and bench seats (need recovering), but thats about it. I will need everything else. Should I begin looking for a complete used interior or would I be better off to buy new repop (like Legendary)? Also need tips on giving a tired 318 a boost. It is a stock 2 bbl 318 w/ a 904 tranny. It does have dual exhaust, but thats about all the upgrades it has. Thanks -[/QUOTE]

Never buy new if you can score good stuff for cheap, theres still dusters and valiants out there to rob... First thing I'd ditch is that old carpet, it might look good on the surface, lift it up and see how much moisture it's trapping... The 318 I can't help you with, maybe a mild cam, edelbrock intake and carb and a set of headers..
