Jewel (grocery store) has steaks on sale for $9.99 per pound, buy one get ONE FREE!!! :cheers:


You can't beat steaks for $5 per pound. :glasses7:


I had the butcher cut me some 1 - 1 1/4 pound steaks and stocked my freezer.


If you get there during regular business hours you can ask for the butcher to cut them to your liking.

Just thought that I'd let you know so you can stock up also.... :cheers:

My grandmother retired from there as a cashier back in the 80s. She started at the store in the 50s when it was still Eisner's.

Nearest Jewel to me is in by Chicago, our Schnucks was selling 10oz sirloins for 5 bucks. We bought them all. Just grilled the last 6 tonight. Very yummy.
