Ipad 1st generation and uploading photos

I looked in the sticky but didnt see anything. Can anyone tell me why the pload pics function is grayed out and wont let me post any photos to my posts?

I think you have to have a minimum nu. of posts as a new member. Not sure what that figure is. I no nothing of "something" - pads, sorry. Don' use 'em

I use a first generation iPad as well and it won't let me upload photos directly either. I believe that this is a function of using the Internet Explorer Java script, because I don't believe that it (Java) was designed to run on Apple products.

I get around this by posting my photos on a free photo hosting website and then copy/pasting the link into the img[] text. Clumsy, but it gets the job done.
