Any advice on how to seal an oil pan for good? what's your best method.
Mine (grey RTV/ cork) seems to work for a few months then starts to leak, its a drag only car - 500hp/ 383 so I know the abuse doesnt help but I usually retorque the bolts after the small drips start to show after a few good runs..there has to be a way.

Im open to any help.
cork - sealer (what kind)
cork - soaked in oil
paper - sealer
??????

whos knows?:prayer:

I got advice on here and used "The Right Stuff" by Permatex...you can tell the difference when you squeeze it out. Used core with it as well

hook up a pan evac system to relieve the pressure inside the pan....

Thanks guys I will look into both and give them a try.
As far the evac goes I will need to see about what kind of vac is happening currently I suppose enough to not help the issue.

Thanks again
