If underhood heat is really a problem, go to the UPP (Used Parts Purveyor) and get the hood grilles off a turbo Laser or Daytona. They're functional, cheap and will look way better than that scoop. IMO, hood scoops on pick-ups just look wrong! Save that scoop for an A-body, like it was meant for.

But I am AMAZED you'd think I'd actually be thinkin' about puttin' that nice Dual Snorkel on a Ferd Turk. AMAZED!!

That scoop is for the Duster project in the garage................

Personally, I would find a cobra jet style scoop. Most fiberglass hood company's have them.

Now ACTUALLY, that's an early Ford style V8, with a Caddy V underneath it......
