Is this heater hose/fuel pump o.k?

This just seems like a bad idea.

The fuel line may be a booger to get started but other than that ?
it should be OK.
 
It just seems weird that the hose is right up against the fuel line. The fuel pump actually kinks the hose in a bit.
 
You can change the clock position of the hose hook ups by removing the screws that bolt the upper and lower halves together and rotate the bottom half.
 
Your a genius SGBARRACUDA! I'll try that! Will that mess up any seals though??
It is a Summit pump.
 
You might also be able to trim the end of the radiator hose at the radiator end a little to let it pull away from the pump. Shouldn't take much. I had to do it to mine for clearance. Some of the aftermarket radiator hoses seem to be a little long.
