Got a call from CV Platers today, my dash is done and will be shipped tomorrow :D They have had it since just before Christmas. Got to put the whole mess back together again, this little fish will be back on the road soon. I will post some pics when I get it unwrapped.

Nice Car!! Can't wait to get mine on the road. I also have to get my dash re-done. Mind saying what they stuck you to do it. And where are they out of? I've never heard of them.

CV Vacuum Platers is located in Vancouver,BC. They have a great web site that will give you estimates on the basics. They like to inspect the part for damage before they give you a final price. Mine was a little over $500.00 Cdn, but I had several repairs done. The corner was broken off at the screw by the glove box, that is common, as well as I had a large hole repaired on the underside above the speedo, don't know how the hell the PO managed that. They also polish the lenses out. I sent it there because of the good reports I read on the BOG and mayby even here too. Keep in mind that they are very busy so if you do go with them make sure to ask for a time frame. There are other companies doing this but I do not have any names. Hope this helps.

Thanks alot Sparky. I'll check them out. From what I've seen so far that price isn't too terrible. Mine is crack free. Just needs replated so that shouldn't be too bad.
