Changed carb for the 3 rd. pass no bogg. spun tires 60 ft. was 1.60 ,driver jitters , went from 1 st. gear 2,3 bang idled to the end.
Changed shocks, 4 th. pass 1.53 60 ft with a 7.08 e.t. @ 95.86 m.p.h
Lots of tuning to do to the chassis to get her dialed in .
Big difference from 600 h.p. to 415 h.p.

Man, I haven't been on this site for a while, but I hate to ask, what happened to the other motor? Last I checked that car was kickin' some serious booty.

was running with a 60 ft of 1.30 and 6.30 in the 1/8 mile.
sold the motor to another FABO member
built a 340 NHRA stock eliminator

.

Wheww! I was worried something bad happened to it. Somebody got one bad to the bone motor. You still got a bad a$$ car too! Congrats on the good runnin' 340!

care to give a run down on the combo

Combo now is NHRA 340 stock eliminator, stock iron heads , stock iron intake thermoquad carb. hydraulic cam and lifters = stock lift , and all the duration you want. the 904 trans. is nothing trick yet, winter project.
rear is 8.75 with 5.13 gears 5200 ptc verter

That's badass.

I would love to build a stock eliminator motor, but I've got a '71 Dart. Pointless.

Sounds like it turns some RPMS!

Get autofocus. LOL

Steve

I haven't kept up with stock eliminator but thats is nice times for the first outting

Stock flat hood gave you away. I have always wanted to race in stock, good luck to you and look forward to living vicariously through you, if you dont mind.

Hey Dane, It's great to see Nick back behind the wheel. I'm sure your both having a good time. I have some time off since I'm having surgery on my foot. Who knows maybe I'll take a road trip.
