Dang it, I hit Post Reply before finishing my thought.
I have decided to install the new engine as it is and start collecting the performance parts for the next engine. With this weekend being over, I am hoping to start tearing the existing engine out next weekend. At that point, I will be cutting into the wheel well to box in the clutch master cylinder. Hopefully the brake booster has been delivered and ready to install. I still need brake hard lines. And I need to find a shifter then cut the trans tunnel.
I believe the Cherokee driveshaft is a tad longer than what I need. I think I have 2 of those I can use as donor's.
Jeep uses a 1310 U-Joint, and with the ford rear end, I need this flange which uses a 1310 as well...
I am planning to run the wiring this winter. Blending the stand alone engine harness with the OEM harness thru the firewall. Not sure if I will go thru the firewall with the bulk head connector or not.
I still need to sort out my options for the cluster.
