After waiting patiently for a month, checked in at FedEx to find my degree wheel and timing tape were sent to La Paz, Bolivia instead of La Paz, Mexico. I ended up "degree ing" the old camshaft before disassembly by using a tape measure, and a dial indicator (and using some math and the diameter of the damper) The duration figures out to an advertised 292 and lift around .505 to .508. Seems to be one of the more common small block profiles. Some rust has eaten away at a couple of the rearmost lobes, so looks to be a paper weight for now.

Even if they had send it to Mexico, it wouldn't have done you no good...my sources tell me your info California
:poke:

Stats underneath your avatar:
Location: Baja California sur

:)

La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico is 950 miles south of San Diego and Baja California Sur is the last Mexican territory to be admitted as a state (number 31 in 1974). Equivalent to Alaska in the United States (most remote, least populated, etc) Does someone believe this area was in the United States?

Most people in the US couldn't point to it on map!

I know where Baja is, but last I knew it was not U.S. "stuff" although I don't keep track. On a side note, I don't know WHY this country still supports Puerto Rico?

I saw California, and did not see a country designation, so I figured it was in the US

On top of that, you didn't write with a Mexican accent
:poke:

That would be Spanish accent, I don't thnk Mexican is a language yet.
My wife is Chilean and when she really tired she speaks with a Chilean accent, just like I speak with a Michigan accent, the accent not referring to the language, but to the region.

Not uncommon,...... I sold a member here, valvetrain,& Eddy heads.. He gave me ,his account number(FedEx)), I walked up,pre packaged sold product...
Fed Ex/college student "Where?..
I reply "Somewhere in SoCal,,that rhymes with China".( The buyer was in Cali,no mention, needed here...)
I get a quote for a 45 pound package to China(1100-1200 bones!), because of untrained,(or actually taking the time to look!) help...This was the manager, quoting me this...(He's my age,or older?....) Just,wow...

We had baggage that ended up in Jacksonville Fl. When it was supposed to follow us to Camp LeJeune, via Jacksonville, NC.

What was it before it was a state, like a territory? I went camping by San Felipe in 1973...

My dad lived on Singapore Lane...in Illinois. For some reason his checks landed up in Singapore...Malaysia. Hell of a d daily commute.
