Seems I remember that car, old Hobby class back then, was that a 108 kfin radio station car ?

My wife and I built the car from scratch while living in Gosnell, (Blytheville) Arkansas. It was built to the rules for the tracks at Caruthersville and the Dyersburg MO. tracks. (Street Stock) We moved to El Dorado,(1993) before its first race. Its first race was at Webster Speedway in Minden, LA around March of 1994. You may have seen it at the MO. track, as we took it up there (300mi) to race. We raced it in LA as a "Sportster." 75 Nova 350 four bolt, 60 over, 327 heads, headers, 12 bolt rear locked 4:10, and a bunch of other "bells and whistle." Some of the best times in my life, running that car with my wife as the "crew chief."

One thing I don't get with these supposed "street racing" shows is why does everybody show up with a giant, annoying posse? I've seen Nascar Busch teams with less people.

Because getting 15 min. of fame is very alluring to folks and definately pays well.
