Mechanical Integration engineer for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD.
After I left college the first time (actually they asked me not to return) I worked as an auto mechanic (mostly at Chevy dealers, as "Mr. Goodwrench") for several years before i returned to (another) school and got my engineering degree.
Worked for the Naval Research Lab in Washington, DC designing spacecraft for 15 years , then went to a private company in dulles, VA (Orbital Sciences Corporation) from 2004 to 2007. Been here at NASA since 2007, worked on the Hubble Space Telescope Servicing Mission 4, James Webb Space telescope, ExPress Logisitics Carrier, and various other missions.
