I want to replace my leaf springs my on '70 duster this winter. I've done some searching on the forum and it looks like there are a lot of opinions on what springs to go with. It looks to me like JRS springs might be a good value- I haven't gotten a price direct from them yet but apparently the springs JCW sells are JRS so I imagine the price must be reasonable.

My car is a street car, will probably never be drag raced, I do want it to handle as good as I can manage on my budget. I also want to buy once/cry once. Should I go with JRS springs or something else? I want factory height or maybe +1 inch. I would also appreciate suggestions for new shocks to go with the springs.

Got JRS set on the back of my Dart. I like them. they were listed as XHD's on the JC Whitney site.

yes..have had my JRS spring on my 73 duster for 5 yrs now...got them out of JC Whitney back then 128 dollars including shipping...also bought new rear shackles and bushing at the same time.

JRS springs, HD
there are some gas filled shocks around 40.00 each
or you can upgrade to the edlebrok IAS for about 80-85.00 each
there are some more expensive ones out there but for driving around,
you have to decide about cost vs comfort..
