Very cool, I have collected many old Cash Albums too, let me dig some out :D

Cool!
There are a lot of people that I know that are not into country music but
when you bring out Johnny Cash it is a different story.

My Dad and Mom also love his music same with one of my brothers.
Had a good time camping and bring out Johnny while sitting around the
fire. Great great time!

Ira Hayes was a great man...RIP Ira

He has been my favorite country artist for years. Love his Folsom prison blues. He actually made a consert at one of the jails here in Sweden, Osteråker back in the days!!

Very true, Cash's music touched many people, even ones who are not big in to country. His music always tells a story, he had a voice like no other, and was great, especially when he played with June Carter. It was a sad day when those 2 passed away....I can tremember exactly where I was and what I was doing when Jonny passed...RIP John

Lots of good memory's
Some of it is hard to listen to because it reminds me being with my
Father (he passed in 2006).

My Mom later told me she had a crush on him and said it was the way he
walked. ????

I'm a John R fan !!

Didn't see this one but it's one of my favorites
[ame]http://youtu.be/ED5s1-Fe9FA[/ame]

The very first time he played "Boy named Sue" was in a prison for the inmates and he had to look at the lyrics while playing it, he had no idea it would become a big hit. That first live recording is the best version!!! Here is the video...strange seeing him reading the song lol...he wrote it a little earlier and didn't know it

Johnny Cash - A Boy Named Sue - YouTube

Actually, "A Boy Named Sue" was written by a young lad named Shel Silverstein, who also penned the Irish ditty "The Unicorn"!

Your kids will probably recognize his work as well as he is a very popular children's book author!!

My brother thinks he's Johnny Cash!!!.....

Wasn't it Kris Kristofferson who said, and I'm paraphrasizin' hard here mind you ..

" Once John R sings your song, it's a Johnny Cash song "
