July and snow?

My wife and l went for our daily walk down the road and saw this.
the fuzzy seed pods from the trees looked like snow on the ground.

Poplar trees do that.
Make a mess of my moms yard for a few days.
Wind will take care of it.

We have Jacaranda (?) trees that dump purple leaves on everything under them. Messy as all hell.
