just bought a 74 dart four door

Was driving arround with my daughter looking for a cheep push mower and saw a four door dart so i checked it out looked decent some rust in quarter pannels and rust in the drivers floor. he was asking 800 for the car so after i payed 800 two hundred dollars of it in change (one hundred sixty dollars in quarters and fourty dollars in dimes) drove it home the carb is flooding the 360 the sellers said that it was a 950 holley (a bit much huh). The four drum brakes dont really stop the car well think it just needs adjusting. the 7.75 rear end leaks arround the cover an easy fix. Cant wait till friday so I can buy tags and get to work on it. Will probbly post pics on either saterday or sunday.

The Carb (holley 950 looks to be a double pumper)issue it seems to be getting too much gass it has a 360 with a eldebrock aluminum intake and suposidly a mild cam was wondering if i could jet down the carb so i wont flood the 360 and if so what size would be a good starting point.

The numbers on the choke horn will tell you what carb it is. Then you can figure out what to do once you know what size it really is.

If it really is a 950, i would change it for a 600 or 650 seeing the engine is so mild to start with.
Jetting down a 950 won't do enough.

went to swiftys in wooster (good parts store) owner said that the carb is a 750 dual feed single pumper

Got carb adjusted car runs much better

got a new rr wheel cylinder and put it in boy that snapon brake tool makes it easy

resealed the rear end cover to find out the cover is what is leaking fixed that
