Thought I'd share...............

Very excited about my new purchase...........enough so I can't sleep (0321 in the morning)...............

I won it tonight (after over a month of looking around) on EBAY..............

Its a 1970 Dart Swinger w/ 440, 727, and 8.75 in GoManGo..........

Elde heads, M1 intake, 850 Race Demon, MSD ign., full TTI from headers to tip, 4.10 w/ spool, and the list goes on and on...........

I'll post pictures after we get it..................its way up in Indiana between Indy and Chicago................most likely go next week after the holiday.

Wow I don't know what these things are supposd to sell for anymore but that seems like a smokin deal. That is a nice car. congrads
 
Yes...................thats he EXACT car.....................3 of us were bidding on it all together. It came down to the wire................my best buddy and I were sitting here. He was cool like a cucumber about it and I was pacing back and forth.


The owner and I talked on the phone and I learned quite alot about the car................


As I said before; its a fairly healthy motor w/ ported Eddy heads, untouched M1, .030 over w/ forged slugs, Crane Rollers, etc etc etc.........

Sub frames.............all new poly and rubber.

All TTI from frt to rear.............

All new interior.............no cut-up

Real sharp paint..........

Hidden JBL sterio in the glove box.............no speakers to be seen.

Its a driver.....................car is not a real Swinger and in fact was a bench seat, slant 6, 904, 7.25 car.

I needs just a couple of things to win first place(s) again:

1 scratch on the frt panel, that panel reshimmed and leveled about an 1/8", one corner of the vinyl top needs re-glued, tail pipes need to be tucked under about 2.5", and it screaming for a mini-tub.............

Owner said he foot braked in Indy while spinning at every gear change to a 12.3 :wav:

Yeah.....................I'm very happy.

i too had seen that very car on ebay. it is a very nice car. it looks like a fine ride to me. good liuck with it!
 
congrats. I was watching that just to see what it would go for. and the color caught my eye. looks sharp

$15,000 was the final price.........

Many folks feel it was an awesome deal............

I'll create a different thread when we pick it up; ya'll can follow the adventures of the road trip..........
