Just Got Back From Carlisle

Just got back from Carlisle. Man it was hot. It was better than last year when it rained all day Friday. The swap meet was so large it took two mornings to go through. I was looking for 67-69 Barracuda stuff. There was not a lot there. Spent most of the trime we were on the grounds in the swap meet due to the heat.

We went to the car show area Saturday. There were very few A body Cudas there.

The big thing I noticed at the swap meet was that a lot of people buy spots in the swap meet area to park their cars rather than sell parts. This really takes away from the swap meet. It is discouraging to walk down a row and to realize it is filled with cars and trucks with nothing to sell.

I agree with the buying spots for parking their vehicle is BS... but on the other hand, I have not been able to make it to Carlisle in a few years, so:

did you come by spaces I26-29?
i had 4 spaces full of 67-69 parts.
very hot but me and my son and our neighbors had a great time!
it was good to see and talk to some fabo members.
can not wait until next year.

picked up some 67-69 stuff. New tail lights (going to sell old when change), rear window rubber, rear view mirror and got a line on front windsheild rubber. No good seats this year though
