Just like Christmas....

Not only did my bumpers arrive today from Tri-City (they look AWESOME!) but I also had a delievery from JEGS. My Holley pump, carb jets, power valve, MSD coil, and fuel tank sump were here! And earlier this afternoon I ordered my Powermaster alternator and regulator from Bouchillion Performance. I can say with confidence that I have just about everything I need to finish the assembly of my car. And I have (not much...) money left in the budget.

Too bad all of my free time is shot for the next two weeks.... I *might* be able to squeeze in a few hours on Sunday. We'll see.... they're also forecasting shitty weather for the weekend. And I'm going to see Rage Against the Machine in concert Sunday night. Outdoors....

Not an option. The band recently re-united and this is a limited tour. So if I miss them, I might never get a chance again...

I'd love to, but at the moment they're propped up in a corner of the living room out of the way. When I bring them to the garage I'll snap some pictures.

And they are REALLY nice!

It's the Rock the Bells show at Randalls Island, which, ironically, is a Hip-Hop show that starts at noon tomorrow. If I went to the entire show I'd enjoy the musical sty lings of such wonderful performers as Public Enemy, Cypress Hill, and Wu-Tang Clan. Rage Against the Machine is scheduled to go on at 9:30... we'll get there at 9:15.

I saw Tool last week at PNC Arts Center in Jersey, and they were awesome. I have 9th. row seats for Alice in Chains and Velvet Revolver at Jones Beach in 2 weeks. And tomorrow I see Rage. Good string of shows!

Rage did a festival out in California a month or two ago and they're doing the NYC show. I have no idea what will come of this. Hopefully more aggressive, angry rock-n-roll instead of this lame crap that's out there now...

As for the pump set-up I'm mounting it right behind the right side tire, mounted to the trunk extension. My friend Tom has his Dart plumbed the same way.

Not that I'm going to do a hack-mount like he did.... mine will be more thought out. Plus I'll have the filter in front of the pump.
