and that is why nothin' gets done. once I see it in my mind, I'm done. so, here are four cars that would be bought/built/done if I won the lottery.
#1 63 or 66 Dart 2-door sedan, 318 Poly 4-barrel, probably a tri-Y type header, 4-speed with OD (standard 4-speed box with aftermarket OD like AJ's), 8-3/4 with 3.55 Sure-grip.
#1A above in S/S version. hi-compression, bigger valves, healthier cam, dual quads, 4.30 Sure-grip.
#2 70 Maverick, 300 6 cylinder, 4-speed with overdrive, 9" with 3.50 gears and Detriot Locker.
#3 73 Hornet Sportabout, Mopar 360 with Magnum heads, Thermoquad, headers, low gear 904, 3.23 Sure-grip 8-3/4.
#4 78 Malibu station wagon (this is the "hi-tech" one), twin cam six cylinder used in newer vehicles, 4-speed with overdrive, 8.5" with 3.42 Positraction:), boxed rear control arms with sway bar.
they would all have black steel wheels with poverty caps, skinny and talls for the front and little bit wider ones for the back.
hope you enjoyed (and didn't laugh to hard that you hurt yourself) my little bit of dreamin'.

I love #1. I've always thought that Chrysler should have installed the 318 Poly in the early A.

I'd like to have all the cars I used to own, just the hi-po ones.
I started with a 70 Swinger 340 4-speed with 35,000 miles for $900, had a 69 Dart "M" code w/o the original driveline, a 68 GSS Dart with original driveline....should have kept the last one, sold it and bought a house for cash. Oh well, enjoyed them while I had them and all the people I've meet.

gotta add to the dreamin part a "sexy European" 71-73 Capri with 351 Cleveland, ah, you know the driveline. 9" with a 3.70 gear should be a good starting point.

I gotta put a big ol' "Like!" on this one, if nothing more than for the Cleveland call-out!

All of my dreams have big titties, daisy dukes, and turbos in them.

Love the ‘78 Malibu wagon! My dad went into the Chev dealership and checked off the boxes for a 305 4spd Malibu wagon back in early 1978. They are super rare to find now….

a fellow in town had one along with a 66 Nova 327 4-speed wagon. Is your Dad's wagon still around?
