Just picked up a 273 for 50 bucks

Craigslist score! Its out of a 66 barracuda, pretty much a complete motor with the single plane iron 4bbrl manifold. Going to clean it up, hydraulic 340 cam and lifters, new oil pump, timing chain, and head gaskets. My Station Wagon will have a V8 soon!

There is a 273 long block here in So. cal on Craigs for $50, been there for 2 months now. I was tempted to buy it just so I wouldnt have to keep seeing it in my searches.....would be a cool turbo motor.

It's a two bbrl motor (flat top pistons) but came with an early model 4 bbrl intake.
