Just returned from a successful treasure hunt

My gf and I headed down to Wildcat Wreckers and Layson's and picked up almost everything on my wish list for my 75 Scamp. We found everything at the Wildcat we were looking for (rocker chrome trim, front fenders, 8 1/4 rear end, radio, radio bezel, etc) and everything at Layson's except for a few items I didn't think they would have (quarter post door jamb seal, antenna gasket and roof rail weatherstripping).

Here it is last week when I dropped it off at the body shop

And here are a few of the goodies.... I'm itching to get them on!

What did they charge for the rearend?

There a quite few things you can bargain for at Wildcat but rear ends (either 8 1/4 or 8 3/4) are not one of them. It was $400. :sad:
