That had to be to cool =P~
I had to see it on tv with :angry7:a fighter jet next to it leaving California.
Thank you for sharing ryan426.:-D

They say it cost's 2,000,000 to get her from CA. to FL.

I have seen it lift off once, that was cool...

When I was a kid my Dad took us to watch one of the Apollo missions launch. Watching and feeling that Saturn V rocket lift off was one of the coolest experiences of my young life............the Daytona 500 was cool too!

I remember seeing a Saturn V launch from Daytona Beach. It might have been an Apollo or Skylab, but I don't remember. You could feel it from 90 miles away.

Yes very cool but way to many $$$$$$$$$$$. I know it had to be done that way but with the rest of the economy in the dumps how can we justify shelling out trillions of dollars to fly into space.

This still has to be one of the coolest things to see as close as you are Ryan. Can you feel it from there?

Whenever I hear some SOB foreigner dogging on America, I wish I had a picture of the shuttle to show them, " See this,...It's a SPACE SHIP, your country got one ?..... Didn't think so, you SUCK!"

You must have been hanging out down there when I was. I remember watching a night launch of apollo, just like daylight. I also went to Daytona back in the day and have some pictures of them running the Firecracker 400 in 67. One of these days I'll have to scan them in and post them.
