Just Suspension HP torsion bars DEAL....

-
Anyone stopped to consider bigger may not be better. 1 inch diameter means very little if the quality isn't there. MP stopped making torsion bars a couple of years ago due to the rising cost of quality materials.
Maybe they are quality T bars. Maybe you'll need to crank up the adjust screw a couple turns per year. Time will tell. My fingers crossed for all of you.

Actually, MP stopped making them and reintroduced them a bit later because they lost their long time supplier for the materials and had to use a new one, and the cost were higher. I got my T bars just before that happened and I paid 149 from summit.

thanks for showing that link. I need larger diameter torsion bars but damn they are expensive.....I can actually afford these. Anybody know how long they are going to be on sale?

The ones I just looked up for my duster said 'sale ends in 6 days'

recieved my bars on saturday.. :)

i say if you need them get them soon. never know how high the price will go.

Got mine on Saturday too.
One question, there aren't any markings on them to determine how they should be installed. Is there a left and a right, or a front and rear??

They look REAL stout! Glad Joe tipped us off.
Thanks again man.

George

I have the same ones. I installed them so the "stamped star" end is in the control arm. There are no left or right markings on them... Doesn't matter before you install them, but once they are installed, keep note of which side they are...

I'm of the "if-anything-can-go-wrong,-it-will" camp. Redfish makes a good point. I'm in the market for T-bars, this is a nice deal, but has any one used these bars besides djvcuda?
Mine's a 273 street cruiser, not wanting to race or autocross, and I don't want a stiff ride. But man, when my car leans into a turn, I'm tightening my grip on the steering wheel! I would love less lean in my car.

If I had a dollar for every time I said this to the girls I used to date....

So you are nervous because they are on sale? Wait till they go back to $259 if that will make ya feel better. Maybe you would rather spend over $300 for the pst ones. Just suspension isn't a fly by night company. What exactly are ya affraid of? They are made in the USA which every one seem to want. Who says your not gonna have any problems with other brands? What is the issue?

Bigger and the rates are better for certian intended uses. Only the user can tell ya if bigger is better in their application. There are applications that smaller are better. It's all about your intended use

I have /6 bars now. My intended use is to drive this 440 Barracuda beast on the road until it won't move anymore. Are these the right bars for me?

Should be good for a 440 cruiser. Stock 440 bars are .920 these are 1".

Even on a small block car they ride nice.

Got this e-mail response back from Just Suspension today:

Dear just-suspension,

Just a head's up on this, a number of us on www.forabodiesonly. com (FABO) are buying these. Your discount and free shipping were very attractive to the FABO guys.

Good dialogue on this thread. I am no longer afraid, Joe. I will buy!

are all "a" body t-bars the same length? I mean would a 64 barracuda t-bar fit a 71 Duster? I understand they are different diameters. Just curious if they would fit various a body models.

Aloha!
