Hi All: My very stock and original 1974 Gold Duster that I purchased in 2019 still has its factory original Rallye wheels. I've always wondered if the black, stamped steel spare tire wheel is also original to the car. This wheel appears to have its factory original semi-gloss factory paint still on it. I've found the following markings stamped on the wheel:
A Chrysler pentastar stamped on the inside of the rim, along with the following:
Kelsey Canada M AL 14 x 5.5 JJ
I cannot find any other markings on the wheel. The original owner was very picky about keeping the car stock, so I'm wondering if there are any wheel experts out there who can tell me what the above markings mean, and if you think this is actually the factory original spare wheel.
Thoughts, anyone? Thanks!

Maybe. Have you looked for a date code on the tire?

There should be a date on the wheel near the info you found

Does your fender tag call out 4 or 5 tires? Not sure if that went behind 68ish

Searched and searched but could not find a date on it. And there's no wheel call out on the fender tag.

It might not be a date that will jump out. They were known for using the 1000 date code? I believe? So it might not be easily recognizable.

The 5.5 rim is an option. Does that match the rest of the wheels on the car? The rest are not 4.5?

If I remember correctly, it would have a 5.5 in wide BBP Rallye spare wheel. I was working for Chrysler then.

some photos of steel 14x5.5 J wheels I have
inside stamping (if 822 is the date code then the wheel is from Day 822 is Monday, October 28, 1963? I bought all these wheels in a lot so I don't know what they came off of but the owner had a 69 Dart)

Outside stamping

I believe the 7 = 67 and the 10 = Oct and would make the wheel for a 68 model year or later

another outside stamping ( and overpainted by PO)

(Circle on left seems to have a pentastar in it. In the center circle looks like a 11. Right circle the 5.5 is visible but the other part of the date is obscured by the paint)
