I have a k-member out of 340 car. I bought the Firm Feel re-enforcement kit, should I weld the washers for the lca pivot points on?? The factory washers are already there. If I weld the additional washers on, will there still be enough clearance for lca??

Yeah, the LCA cantilevers off the back.

That's a known weak point on the K's.

If you have a factory 340 K frame then you should already have factory reinforcing washers. Something like this right?

If that's the case I would probably just leave them there unless the welds are particularly terrible (like the ones above). And even then I might just re-weld the factory washers. The big deal is making sure the end of the LCA pivot tube is well anchored to the K, the factory washers being a little smaller won't be a big deal. If you do any additional welding just make sure you don't get any slag into the pivot tubes.

If you want to weld on the Firm Feel washers, you'd have to remove the factory washers and weld the FFI parts in the same location, there won't really be enough room to double them up.
