I have a 73 duster. The hole on the k frame for the lower control arm shaft is wallowed out. How do I go about repairing this?

Get another k frame.

Weld it up + add a reinforcement washer to the weld. I have seen some 340 K frames that had a C welded on them from the factory.

It's hard for them to wallow out, but it is possible if things were left loose at some point. Post pictures of the area for a solution.

You do what I did, all of them eventually fail, it's best to take out the k-frame and reinforce it anyway.

But if your looking for a quick fix, weld it up, both sides, and do the steering brace like I did while your at it, it's right there.,. See where the crack was next to that first bolt on the left? I'd say this fixes the majority of the flex in the frame.
If you want to go the full way you can touch up the factory welds if you'd like, and go around the perimeter every 2", 1" beads and make that sucker stiff as a hickory bat on opening day.
If your doing that you might as well do this too:

Install some 'offset UCA bushings' while your there to get that better handling caster.

Bushing tool, install arrows pointing paralleled to the UCA body. The correct direction, front out, rear in.
