Sad update:
Wrong linkage....it's different on my car. The bushings, and receptacle pins, are larger on mine. Plus the shafts look longer, but I didn't pull mine out to match. I just re-sealed the shafts and they're in. A previous post mentioned they are availible, soooooo............ I run down to the local Chrysler dealership (Bayside Chrysler) about 1/2 mile from my shop out of convience. I walk in holding the linkage from my car to show which bushings I need. IMMEDIATELY the counter guy goes into his song & dance about his computers only going back to `84 when I stop him and tell him they are readily availible. Then he say's "Oh..the bushings. I have them, but you HAVE to buy the entire package of NINE and it will cost $34. Plus tax.... I just laughed and walked out.
Now, my dealership is owned by a family that operates 5 dealerships in the area, including a Chrysler store. The reason I didn't go there at 5:00 was because of "rush" hour traffic. Five miles round trip would have taken me at LEAST an hour, maybe more. Now I HAVE to go there(probably on my lunch hour tomorrow...) and buy, or at least order, these damn things.
Kevin, I appreciate the favor you did and we had no way of knowing (for sure...) if it would work. I'm sorry to say, I can't use them. What I'll do is send them back ( it's a Karma thing...don't argue) so that if YOU should need them, you know they are not laying in MY garage doing no one any good. Or, maybe someone else might need them.
I keep threatening to buy a %$#@#$% Chevy because of these "tests" of Mopar loyalty. Not to mention I sold a solid running Jap Trap that makes all this a little harder to swallow. Especially when it's being served up by the Wife & co-workers.
