I have the Kevko oil pan on my 360 magnum Part#M302. my problem is the dipstick doesn't seem to slide into the pan right. i really dont want to drop the pan as its in the vehicle. anything i can do to correct it. i still have the truck dipstick tube.

Thanks Tom

ya woods I usually do but I dropped the ball on that. stupid me

I think I went with the LA tube/dipstick on my Kevko. Also, it won't be accurate when you check oil level. It barely marks the bottom of the stick when the Kevko is at capacity ~5 quarts.

subcom is your pan the one with all the trap doors in the sump as well?

Put a slight bend in the end of the stick. Try it both ways. I had this problem not all the blocks are drilled at the same angle. Mine was catching the edge off the pan on the way in. This was on an X-block but whats the difference. Something to try?
