I got a set of mustang/raybestos disk for my 68 dart GT vert. Is there any value in the original KH disks or do I scrap them?
I will hold on to them for measurement purposes but, once I'm done with the machining, I'll have no use for them.
Thanks

Rebuilt they bring a pretty penny but you have to consider the time and money it takes to rebuild them. I rebuilt a couple sets last year. Not cheap but nice to have spares on the shelf since they are getting really hard to find.

sounds like he's just parting with the rotors, not the calipers. JMO

Used, old, disc brake ROTORS are just scrap metal.
New ones can easily be purchased in the $20.00-$30.00 range.

Thanks. That's what I needed to know.
Nothing about calipers - just rotors.

So tell us more about machining mustang rotors to fit our A-bodies. It's been a while for me reading about this subject. Last I recall is that the grease seals are different. Too big and dont seal on the spindle.

Read thru the "Sticky" at the top of this page.
