Can someone please send me a picture of what the correct kick panel looks like for the 66 Valiant convertible?

I'm so proud of myself for making these temporary panels as the others were warped and made a cardboard.

Of what material is the original made? What I pulled out was thick cardboard-like material. I used the old, warped one as a template and I think they turned out pretty good.

Have a great day!

Very nice! I've seen the kick panels with the speaker installed. Did you have to cut a space for the speaker to fit?

Yes, more work then I like to think about. Was a crappy location and should have done differently.

Well, guess I'll take advantage .... what would you have done differently? I'm trying to figure out the best way to get sound. I saw a thread that someone had started about location of speakers, etc.

rear panels great location and speakers near back panel(66 barracuda) LOOK behind before deciding.LOL

I couldn't find those on ebay- how did you locate? thanks
let me go look (i forgot what I searched under:banghead:) but I think I save it to watch. ahhhhh Mopar 63 66 was the search criteria.

opening another tab now......

just tested it and it works.

I'm working on a guy doing mine in plastic and vacu forming speaker kickouts on it so I don't have to cut into the metal support area.
I just have to make a few more changes so the fresh air door opens on the drivers side. and then off to the passengers side to test.

that was the prototype pattern and the speaker had to be moved down and out towards the door a little to clear the fresh air vent door. new one in the making as I type.
View attachment new pattern needed thanks cork.jpg
