904 4bbl or 2bbl. They are different. 4bbl 904 only came on f-bodies. Most Aspen ,Volare, Diplomat police cars. 727 4bbl will work with the lower rod shortened.

It's going on a 4bbl. I have a '98 model 360 mated to a 904 tranny.
