RIP Kirk. You were a major part of of our cinematic history and your roles will be remembered fondly by those of us who grew up on them.

Just got home from work, caught it on the news, R.I.P. another legend gone.

Ddaddy, you do outstanding work! Your recreated poster is awesome and captures the smile/smirk that he showed so many times in that movie and many others.
So sorry to hear of his passing. He had a great career with many outstanding movies. And he had a great run at 103 years.

Kirk was a pretty small guy, but extremely athletic. Not hard to tell him doing the stunt instead of a stunt guy. His movies provides many hours of enjoyment for me and countless others!

Kirk Douglas truly was a legendary tough guy actor. They don't make 'em like that anymore. 103 years is a fantastic lifespan!
