LA heads on a magnum block???

Can you bolt 01 Magnum heads on a 70s 340? Would there be any advantage?

Yup. Done just that on a couple of LA engines.

It's easy to run push rod oiling. I did exactly what you mentioned. 360 Magnum short block with Speedmaster Aluminum heads.
