So, question, since I have never done this before.

I am taking the 360 out of my 86 ramcharger, (vehicle don't matter, I guess) and putting a 93 Magnum 318 in it's place.
Mounts, ect, will be a snap, it's the..............

Will the 86 brackets work on the magnum heads and block?
A neutral 727 TC will fit up to the tin flex plate, right?
Timing cover off of an LA work? (Mech fuel pump)

The brackets will bolt right up to the magnum heads.

The drivers side mount on the 360 is different than the 318 magnum so you will likely need to pick up a 318 mount fot the drivers side.

The neutral balance torque converter should be OK.

The LA timing cover will fit the magnum engine but you will need to get an adapter to be able to mount the fuel pump eccentric to the end of the magnum cam. I believe Mencini Racing has them.

Da man with the plan!

The mounts are in the truck the magnum came out of!

WHOOOHA!

Been thinking of camming it up some.......

Know of any good ones for a carburated 318 mag?

Yea! Dave is good, knows his stuff.
Whats the rides wieght gear ratio and tire size. Cam for a driver right?
4 inch stroke 318 or stock 3.31?

86 Ramcharger, 5K, 727, 3:55, 235/75/15.

Where is the square bore magnum manifolds, not air gap?

Familymobile, idle for hours, good MPG, 5000 rpm max.

Stock smegnum 318, out of a 93 truck.

I was looking at the barely above stock voodoo cam.

Any others?

Hydraulic retro fit roller, good idle. Excellent towing cam for 340-360 cubic inch engines. Good all around performance cam in 273-318 cubic inch engines throughout the RPM range. May require computer modifications for later model 5.2-5.9 liter EFI type engines.

I was going to put it on the stand, and check out the bore, bearings, new chain, and give it a valve job before install. It runs perfect, no tick, knock, or smoke, with 177,000 miles on it. Guy said it didn't burn a quart between changes, and has lived off of valvoline it's whole life.

How about the longer duration on the EX side, do magnum heads need that?
