last night at Texas Raceway

I saw this car and found out it has a Nascar motor in it.He was ready to go home so I missed it running!

Those are so cool. There was a Duster at our local track last fall with a truck engine in it. The thing sounded way different than any other Mopar at the track. What a great powerplant for a drag car. A engine designed and built to produce 700 hp at 8,000+ rpm and last for hours! You could probably get 5 years out of one at the strip with nothing more than a yearly set of plugs and a oil change!

Those engines are a lot of HP for the money, but it also costs a bunch to convert over to them.
