When I rewired my car I used a Painless harness and hid all my wires throughout the car. Well thats fine and dandy but it left a big hole in the firewall where the stock wire bulkhead was. So I made a plate out of carbon fiber to cover the hole. I also made it to tie into a cable mount for my lokar throttle cable.

Then while I am waiting for parts to show up in the mail I decided to fab up a new lite weight fuel filter mount. The one that came with the filter was 1/4" thick steal and had to weigh over a pound. So I made a swiss cheese version that is feather weight.

There is no doubt I'm jealous of your fab skills.

TRUST ME! anyone can do it. I just measure twice cut once. I drilled the holes with hole saws and then used my dremel tool with a sanding drum to polish the inside of the holes. I just put a layer of making tape down and draw my measurements out. I have found using a sharp punch to mark my holes before i drill it keep the bit from walking.
