it is a great place to retreat to
specially on those days its just me and the wife...it has become our go to spot when we want to discuss things


as for the furnace, its funny, i can hear my fan kick it...almost sounds like a helicopter
but once its running it pipes down again


i just got the bill for that switch that went out last week
i think the mechanic cut me a deal, he billed me for 2 hours, but i think it was closer to three

best part is, those 2 hours and the part was still less than the minimum charge would have been if i had them come by over the weekend (and there is no telling if they would have been able to get the switch at that point)

Glad it got fixed and didn't break the bank. Next time it breaks I bet you learned a few things in fixing it yourself.

Hot tub sounds real good right about now and a quite one.
My house furnace is forced air and the damn fan makes lots of noise. Not any rattling noise just the air going through the fan. Need to see if I can slow the blade down some.

Change the size of the pully on the motor.

Got goosed you mean!! Saw yesterday that BP (British Petroleum) posted a first 1/4 profit of (get this) 12.8 billion dollars profit.

We had 22" of snow at least three weeks ago. Then we got another 5 on top of that... It hasn't hardly dropped at all because of the cold weather. Sick and tired of it now. Learning new French words LOL

Don’t know the exact number but over 2 ft and it’s still snowing, at least the temperature has leveled off and is staying at around-15 not this dropping into the -38 range every 2 or 3 days. The shops wood pile has taken a **** kicking over the past 3 weeks will be ok till spring though. Hope this doesn’t all melt at once or you’ll see pics of the red on tv again lol

Don’t know the exact number but over 2 ft and it’s still snowing, at least the temperature has leveled off and is staying at around-15 not this dropping into the -38 range every 2 or 3 days. The shops wood pile has taken a **** kicking over the past 3 weeks will be ok till spring though. Hope this doesn’t all melt at once or you’ll see pics of the red on tv again lol

We've got a mixed bag the rest of the week but then back in the freezer for one day looks like. I love the fact that we're getting longer days now and getting dark at 5:40pm. Guess we get another 2 minutes of daylight every day. Bonus!!

So as you might remember we had my daughter and family here on Sat. The SIL was notified on Sun from work that someone had tested + for covid.
He got tested Monday and sure enough he was positive. My daughter and the two boys are negative thank goodness.
My wife and I are probably ok but both have had a runny nose for the last 3 days only out of one nostril. Slowed down right now but we'll pick up a test kit and check us out.
