Glad the barricades are finally coming down. I talked to FOG and he said he was watch it live and one lane had already been cleared.
At least the factories etc on both sides of the border will be back to work again

I talked to her this morning and she spent the night in hospital for surgery this morning. She had broken her ankle right where there the tibia meets the ankle in two places. She was going to be having a plate put in I guess until it heals. She'll have to go to a convalescing place as she lives alone. Boy, I feel helpless but she lives 1 3/4 drive from here and I have appointments to go to so my hands are tied.
Yea same here when **** hits the fan ya do what you can to clean it up.
Got 3 different problems going on right now and I know everyone dose have problems and just some days it gets real bad. Hang in there and hope the best for her.

On top of all this one of her best friends is dying (Alheimer's) so she can't even go and see her

Warmed up here yesterday to plus 1, 33F and snowed 4”. Then it started to nose dive temp dropping faster than a hookers pants on Saturday night, sitting now at -28 4:00 pm supposed to drop to -38 this evening and with wind chill - fcold. Just can’t get a break. Ditch’s are all full now so drifting across roads, steady rotation of vehicles in shop to melt them out. Sometimes I really wonder why I live here. :BangHead:

After some difficult years, I decided to treat myself to a good Spanish (not Mexican, there is a huge difference), ordered the Gazpacho, sure enough, five minutes later, I am getting my *** beat in.

Morning guys and Happy Saturday.
Fairly mild so far but tonight we'll be in the freezer once more. The good news it that this is supposed to be the last cold blast this winter.

We're paying 1.51 a litre so it takes approx 4.5 litres to make 1 Imperial Gallon so that is roughly 6.80 a gallon. A real bargain don't you think?

we dont use imperial gallons, we use US gallons
a US gallon is 231 Cubic inches, or 3.785 liters

so that runs your price down from 6.80 to 5.71

speaking of gallons...did i show of the wifeys new car yet?

she had a little fender bender and the darn airbags went off totaling her car

so i got her this one to replace it
