I had a horrid night. I was up 6 times in a span of 1.5 hrs talking on the porcelain telephone. Actually both ends were competing. I could have hit the eye of a needle at 10 paces and not even splash the sides. Throat is mighty sore right now but had a popsicle so that helped some. We had liver, onions and bacon for supper last night and was really good but my wife was fine so don't know what caused it. Thought I was dying.

The other farmers and I are finally getting into the fields working around the ponds to dry them out.
Hopefully for you guys the rain holds off for a bit.

They say no rain till Friday night so after work tomorrow I will prep more. I may take Friday off work to try and plant what I can.
Yes I was just checking the Freep for the weather and you're right Friday.
What do you plant this late. Soy?

Yes it is too late for corn.I may save a wet section of it to plant wheat in the fall.

The half I planted on the 1st of May looks good and I only lost a couple acres of that to flooding. Thanks for thinking of me.
