well, got the brakes done and about as soon as i pulled the pads off i knew, i was barking up the wrong tree
finished it anyway and sure enough...the squeak is still there

it is definitely coming from the driveline so hopefully it is the squealers on the rear brakes, otherwise it may be something more serious

Two nights ago two thieves drove a stolen car right though the fronts doors of a shopping mall in Toronto in a stolen Audi shortly after 1am. They drove through the mall till they found an electronics place. They drove the car through the front doors and took all kinds of electronics then took off driving through another entrance. They had it all on video but their faces were hidden. The cops found the car later on. Is that balls or what?

Hope it's an easy fix nothing worse than crawling around in the snow.

I'm afraid it may be the front hubs
I was running in 2H and my passenger front lock out hub was hot to the touch

The driver side was a little warm, but way less
What year is the Bronco? It has rear disc brakes. Does it have sealed one piece front bearings?

The Bronco was an 86, the super superdookie I use now is an 05 (got a good deal on it, so that's why I bought it)

It does look like it had simple bolt in hubs on the front BUT in order to get them off I need to remove the locking hubs and I'm running into a problem there

All that to say, I'll probably outsource this one

The locking hubs seem to consist of two parts, held together with a spring

The "hat" part comes off just fine, but the lower part that slides into the hub seems to be stuck

I can't get too it with the hat on, and I don't want to just jank on the spring and risk ruining it

Awwwww my heart bleeds for you :poke: it’s been hovering at -25 daytime highs and windchills of -38 for over a week now. Supposed to warm up to - single digits on weekend according to the bullshit artist on the tube but I’ll believe it when I see it.
