You guys want to talk Hot Wheels. When my son was 5 Santa got him 50 cars and wrapped them all separate. After about 7 or 8 cars he was mad at Santa and stopped unwrapping them. lol

I remember when my kids were young they would rather play with the box the toy came in than the toy.
I would bring heavy duty cardboard boxes from work in the winter when there was not much for the kids to do and we would clear the sofa and chairs out of the family room and build cardboard houses that were two stories high and me and the kids would chase each other through the boxes and at bed time we all slept in the boxes.
Good times back then.

Well Fred I’m as old as you guys not quite 60 but close ...
I knew you were an old fart like the rest of us.
No BIff just kidding. I will be 62 in Sept. and just starting to feel my age.
I think when I was in my 40's I would still get up to go pee or take one of my kids to go pee.

was just thinking about going pee, I know that sounds stupid but I remember when my 3rd child went camping with us for the first time he was 4 I think and I took him down a trail to fish along the lake and he told me he had to pee and ask where is the toilet. I told him he would have to pee on the trail.
So I pulled down his pants and leaned him forward so he wouldn't pee on his feet and he kept looking around and said hey dad does this trail flush?
Getting old brings back good memories.

Your kids and grandkids will keep you busy no need to worry about that! It’ll be your turn to be a pain to them
So true Biff I tell my kids all the time soon you will have to change my dipper.

Great memories!! And the kids will never forget it either.

Way back and I mean way way back a guy here in Town took a 58 Chevy 4 door and cut it down into a 2 door. It had a 348 4 speed so you can imagine how it would whale. Don't think it was on the road for more than 2 yrs. Looked weird though.
Me and the neighbor hood kids did the same thing to a 56 4 door wagon and a 68 chevelle rag top.
and a few others.
Sure am sorry for destroying so many nice cars.
