Great Mike what was the problem?
Some one dropped the common (Blue wire) at the board in the unit and must have used the brown , don't know why but there was no voltage on the board for the common blue wire, so as soon as we (Frank) hooked up the Brown for common everything started working as it should

Let me say good morning and let everyone know the a/c package heat pump unit I paid 500 for is up and running smoothly, 87% humidity and 97 degrees (105 in the shop) when I started it up at 2pm, well it took two hours to bring the humidity down to 57% and temp down to 77 !! felt like 60 degrees in there in my short pant's and bar feet
Memikie is a happy camper this morning

Morning Mike....congrats on getting the a/c going. Just have to get the insulation up now. Have a great day and no need to tell you to keep cool.

Thank you Mark and all here in this thread, had to get y'all updated on my happy happy day  everyone have a good day, time to get to a couple things I have put off because of this a/c unit install... doc needs to see me and the yard needs to be mowed ..

Morning guys... It was raining on and off yesterday but muggy but today we're going to start really warming up especially on the weekend. They're saying we'll be in the low to mid 40's with the humidex (104-113F). Don't think I'll be working outside in those temps but will probably give the 300 a good cleaning. Canada's Birthday on Sunday so we have a long weekend. Your July 4th is coming fast and furious too. Enjoy your time off but be responsible and be safe.

That's hot Mark easy to get heat stroke at that temp.

No sir, just blood work for my JAK 2 Jean, look it up some time .
Thank you, I was a happy man when it started up in cool cycle
Hope they can keep it under control Mike. My late Father-in-Law had a blood cancer which was kept under control. He died at 85 but it was from a fall down the basement stairs. He may have a had a dizzy spell but don't know for sure. It caused a brain bleed from his head hitting the concrete floor.

They are doing a good job on mine as well, so sorry to hear about your grandfather, and I would be tickled to make it to 85 , hope I do so I can bother my family a bit longer

Thanks FOG. Mine seems to be crapping out at about 5,000 rpm Tried everything I could think to find the problem but nothing yet. So I well check the fuel pump
Just a note Fred , don't know if you have an automatic choke on your carb. or a manual choke . Once my choke was stuck just a 1/4 in. from wide open , but when I hit 5,000 she started crapping out . Just saying check the choke before you do anything . Good luck Fred and like Biff said keep us posted.

Mark, I hear it's 30c plus in Scotland, they must be dropping like flies!
You're right.....I just checked Glasgow weather and at present which will be 9:55 pm they are saying 24c and feels like 27. They're not used to that kind of heat there and a lot don't have a/c either. The next week will be low to mid 20's plus the humidity. By the way, it will still be light enough outside at 10pm to read a book or newspaper. Absolutely gorgeous country.

You might see some black smoke out of the tailpipe also. Hope it's something real simple.

Thanks guys, just got home from work gonna check the choke and check the spark plug wires.
I hope it's the choke.
It's a manual choke FOG but never use it.

Ohm check on all wires read the same, Choke is good. I'll do the spark plug check next.
