looks to me like I'm running a bit lean and plug gap is .35 or .88mm. comp. test is 155 on one side and 150 on the other give or take a few pounds.
 
You guys have to remember I am new at working on engines. I can take it apart and put it back together but when it comes to trouble shooting I need you guys.
 

Make sure the floats are set so you can see fuel in the sight glass .
Yea no sight glass but did make sure the floats were set before I put it on .
Timing is set at 14* btdc gonna change that to 12* and readjust the carb .
Been busy around here the last few hours got a storm coming tonight not sure how close it will be but sounds bad.
we had 3 tornadoes in less than a half mile of my house last year. I live in a mobile home and you know how tornadoes like mobile homes.
Car is full of gas so I think I'm set.

Thanx Fred , nice work on the a/c Mike , Mark 40 is gross, I to do not have a/c in fact the Dakota I bought in 2010 is the first car I bought with a/c didn’t know what I was missing ,lol night all gonna be an early one .... so last is up for grabs !
