Got another job in the shop. Kind of a piece meal deal. Good customer. He bought a donor Suburban for 600. It showed up yesterday. I sucked 3 gallons of melt-off out of the shop between last night and this morning.
I pulled it apart today. Pretty heavy front hit on his rig. I Called him today to say "get this stinking piece of **** out of my shop". He shows up today and he chains up the fronts to get it up my hill. Took him about 5 minutes to chain up the fronts. The F-350 has a locking rear. I heard the big turbo spool up and hang on. LOL

He comes back an hour or so later with the repair vehicle on the trailer. Cant run empty he says. Typical gyppo logger. We off load it and coax it down the hill into the shop. That hill is a handy feature for non running vehicles. We load up the parts rig with some help from his boys with minimal flesh wounds and away he goes.

HERE IS THE KICKER... The guy is 90 years old. Now there is some incentive to keep rolling.

Morning guys.
Supposed to get mild today. Notice I said Supposed haha.
Today we go shopping. Going to Wallyworld so should be some idiots in there almost guaranteed.
Some are unbelievable like walking around in shorts and crocs.
Have a great day

Morning guys.
We had about 2" of that white crap overnight but should clear up.
I may go out and try shoveling the driveway.
It was 12 years today that I walked out of work for the very last time.
I've never looked back. Just miss the guys I worked with.
We had a lot of fun.
Have a great weekend

Update on remote start.
I tried my wife's fob and was the same result. For ***** and giggles I put a new battery in my fob.
If I go out to start it the engine springs to life and fires right up.
What a conundrum!!!
BTW did you know Canada is invading the U. S.?

Some of us don`t consider that area part of the US due to the perversion there.

Bring plenty Molson :D

When I got home from work yesterday at 5 pm it was about 40*, then it started raining, which turned to snow. By 8 pm we had about an inch of heavy wet snow, so wife and I went out to shovel before it froze. This morning it's about 36* and more snow is expected today and tomorrow, then by Thursday back up to 50*.

3"-6" forecast here this evening through tomorrow afternoon, thankfully all below freezing. I haven't had to use the 28" Toro 2-stage yet, which is odd, but I have to admit I wouldn't mind firing it up tomorrow.

Going into town to order-up my B'day present from my wife this afternoon, and I'm really looking forward to having a dedicated bucking (25" bar) saw here:

Sad news for me. Looks like my son will spend another 16 months in jail.
I'm having a hard time with news.
Damn, Fred! The details are none of my business (didn't know your son was incarcerated), but if there's anything I can do to help you, please don't hesitate to ask, as you got a friend here.

Jim

Thanks Jim appreciated.

So we had about 3" of fluffy snow.
By the time I got showered and dressed my neighbour was shoveling my driveway.
Been hovering just above 32F and the sun is out so the driveway and sidewalks are all dry.
Have a great evening
