Morning guys.
Went to see "A Complete Unknown" last night.
Got the Premium seats which are heated and recline almost flat out so very comfortable.
It was a great movie but the volume was way too loud. The language was almost distorted.
I even turned my hearing aids off and left them in which helped some but that was ridiculous.
Hadn't been to a movie for many years. Last time was "MY Big Fat Greek Wedding".
Nothing like sitting on your own chair in front of the big screen tv. Much better in my mind.
Have a great day

Usually, better snacks, pause for washroom breaks, quieter, no driving, shots for beverages, if you fall asleep you can back it up or watch tomorrow. For me it’s the no driving and all associated crap with the car, parking, cold car after movie. I guess I really am an old fart lmao.

When we came out of the movie it was cold and real nasty wind blowing and seemed like forever to reach the car.
At least it was running by the time we got to it..
You're right about watching at home cause you can pause for a pee time

It is winter, more snow in forecast for us. Hopefully a little break from the -25and lower temperatures. Hit the key in the van yesterday it just cracked up laughing at me “you want me to do what”lol
No snow here yet but weatherman says it will start around 6PM.

Hi guys. Went out this morning then blew out two driveways when I got home. Blower is working like a charm.
Feels good to be out there.
Wife and I are going to the movies to see the Bob Dylan movie tonight.
Think it's going to be a good one according to the reviews
not a single snow flake here in Mississauga...but then again, an hour away from each other could make a difference sometimes

You working today Fred? I need some iron but not too excited about driving in a blizzard to get the stuff. I want to build an engine run stand. I have a paying job scheduled for tomorrow.

Just checked the weather forecast here: 1-3" overnight tonight, but allegedly we're supposed to get 6-10" this weekend. If that comes to pass, it would be the first 3"+ snowfall we've seen all winter.

I might just get to use the "big" snowblower yet!

Nope no work the rest of the week, waiting on parts and the boss to catch up on painting.
I do have a job here at home that I need to start on. The boss has around 10 or so SATA spray guns that are used that he wants me to clean up so he can sell them. He gets a new spray gun once a year and I haven't bought a new gun in many years. LOL

I'm not sure how much snow we have coming but nothing I can do about it, so I guess I'll be surprised.

Hey Jim, are you going to Mopar's in the Park this year? I' plan on going and guess I'll just take the Scamp. Don't know if they will let me bring the old truck.

Well, I'm kind of on the fence right now. I've talked to Barry a couple times about this, and asked him what kind of work his car needs (or what he would like me to do on it), but so far he's been pretty non-committal. My "gut feel" is that there are still some health issues he has to deal with, and he's hesitant to make plans that far out. He has told me in the past that I should take the car myself, but it's not my car, and while I know it better than anyone now (other than Barry, of course), I don't know that I'd be comfortable doing that.

So on the one hand, with no car....

But on the other, I've become friends with a number of people here, so there's that...

How's he going to sell them? Locally, word-of-mouth kind of thing?

I don't own a spray gun, but I went to Martin-Senor training in Chicago a couple times when I worked for NAPA, and I really enjoyed it, so I've always wanted to mess around some with this once I retire.

Well hope ya show up and join the rest of us under the canopies.

I'm not sure but guessing on the internet. Some of the guns are over 1,000 new and I think he's selling them for 300 a piece.
