Hey Mark I hope you're healing up good.
I have a weather forecaster of my own, It's a rock and the best weather man I've had.
Morning Fred. I'm feeling so much better now and thanks for asking.
Supposed to be decent today but of course there will be wind.
Don't forget Mother's Day tomorrow but more important it's Father's Night.
I'm now a hockey widower. My wife has gotten hooked on watching the game.
Last night one of the Leafs scored and I said to her "Come to bed and see if I can score also"
Well at least I tried.
Have a great day

(Hehehe…..) I’ve been selling a few things around here lately (JD mower, my carbon fiber road bike, etc), and for a while there we had about $3k in twenties, fifties, and hundreds sitting on the kitchen counter, and the other day when I gave my wife “The Look”, and playfully asked her if she’d like to make a hundred bucks…..

Word to the wise, guys: Unless she’s in a playful mood as well, this approach doesn’t go over so well!

Morning guys.
It was absolutely gorgeous yesterday.
I poured a couple of rye and cokes and my wife and I sat on the deck and spent a little US time.
Brought in 2 rib dinners for supper.
My son was turkey hunting yesterday and the game warden came along and checked him out.
The warden said "It's been a long time since I found a hunter that had all the rules right".
A feather in his hat for sure.
He's been after this one large Tom so he posted this.
Have a great day with your Mothers. I wish I could.

After i bagged my first turkey, I've been trying to lure in the dominant Tom and nothing has worked so far. Trying this alteration on my decoy. Hope it works!

My new to me 145 ford lawn tractor with garden tiller attachment. Couple bucks a little massaging. Tilled the garden twice in half the time for once with the walk behind and WAY easier on this old body $200 for the unit. Bought another from same guy for parts for $100 happy happy happy

I'd be happy with that also for the price.

I have an old John Deere. 67 or 8 had to put a heli coil in the head. the thing runs very well. It has a built in compression release that lets it start super easily. Plus it lookks cool.

Have the hood and grill for it. Now it working I can start doing cosmetic repairs on it

Back in the day, and I’m old enough to use that phrase. I had a Nokia coffin phone, just getting used to texting. One day I asked my son a question. He texted me back and said IDK I text, what’s IDK, he texts I don’t know, I text what do you mean you don’t know you texted it to me. Been a running joke for years now.

Auto correct is always good for a laugh too. Tending to my father's failing health, I had to text my stepmom if she had given him his Flomax. Auto corrected it to CLIMAX.

Nice! I learned how to back-up a trailer with my dad’s old Ford tractor that was similar to that one. We had horses when I was a kid, and I used to sell “garden fertilizer” to make a few extra bucks. Used to haul dad’s old utility trailer around the pasture, and I got that old trailer in some awfully weird situations, including jackknifes when I slid on some “fresh” fertilizer. Almost every time I got in a bind dad would tell me to “figure it out” when I asked for help, and I hope I remember to thank him for that come this Fathers Day.

When I was learning how to back up a trailer my old man said I’m only going to tell you this once. “ put your hand on the bottom of steering wheel and push it the way you want the trailer to go” works for me.

Learn to steer the trailer not the car.
Morning guys.
It was a lovely day yesterday but breeze made it a bit chilly unless your were in a protected spot.
Today is supposed to be 79F and all sun. We'll see!!
Our car shows are opening up now. One yesterday and one tonight both in town.
Another one on Friday.
I'll be cleaning up the car. First real time this year. When I first took the cover off I just used the California Duster and it looked decent.
Hope everyone enjoyed Mother's Day with their mothers yesterday. Sadly mine passed 10 years ago, lovely memories though
